The Everest Three Pass Trek is one of Nepal’s most challenging and rewarding high-altitude adventures, offering a complete exploration of the Everest region beyond the classic trekking routes. Located in the world-famous Everest Region, this trek combines dramatic landscapes, remote valleys, and breathtaking Himalayan panoramas.
This adventurous journey crosses three spectacular mountain passes — Kongma La, Cho La, and Renjo La — each offering unforgettable views of Mount Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Cho Oyu, and the iconic Ama Dablam. Trekkers also reach the legendary Everest Base Camp and hike to Kala Patthar for stunning sunrise views over the world’s highest peak.
The trek explores vibrant Sherpa settlements such as Namche Bazaar and the peaceful Gokyo Valley, home to the pristine Gokyo Lakes. Along the way, trekkers experience ancient monasteries, traditional mountain culture, and diverse landscapes ranging from lush forests to glaciers and high alpine terrain.

Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. Meet our representative and transfer to the hotel. Trek briefing and equipment check will be conducted. Enjoy free time exploring nearby markets and preparing for the exciting Everest Three Passes adventure.
Scenic mountain flight to Lukla Airport followed by trek through Sherpa villages and suspension bridges along the Dudh Koshi River. Gentle walking leads to Phakding, allowing gradual acclimatization while enjoying beautiful landscapes and traditional Himalayan settlements.
Cross several suspension bridges and enter Sagarmatha National Park. The trail climbs steadily through forests before reaching vibrant Namche Bazaar, the main Sherpa trading hub, offering stunning first views of Everest and surrounding peaks.
Acclimatization hike to Everest View Hotel or nearby viewpoints. Enjoy panoramic Himalayan scenery including Mount Everest, Ama Dablam, and Lhotse. Explore local markets, museums, and Sherpa culture while allowing the body to adjust properly to increasing altitude.
Descend to the Dudh Koshi River before climbing through pine forests to beautiful Tengboche. Visit the famous Tengboche Monastery surrounded by magnificent mountain views including Ama Dablam and Everest.
Trek through alpine landscapes passing Pangboche village and Mani walls. Gradual ascent leads to Dingboche, a scenic settlement surrounded by towering Himalayan peaks and open valleys, providing excellent acclimatization environment.
Rest day with optional hike to Nagarjun Hill or Chhukung Valley viewpoints. Enjoy breathtaking views while adapting to altitude. Proper acclimatization prepares trekkers for upcoming high passes and challenging terrain ahead.
Short trek into the Imja Valley toward Chukung village beneath Island Peak. Enjoy dramatic mountain scenery and glacier views. Afternoon rest and preparation for crossing the first high mountain pass.
Cross the challenging Khongma La Pass with spectacular glacier and mountain panoramas. Descend carefully toward Lobuche after one of the most demanding yet rewarding trekking days of the journey.
Trek along glacial moraine to iconic Everest Base Camp. Celebrate reaching the base of the world’s highest mountain before returning to Gorakshep for overnight stay.
Early morning climb to Kala Patthar for unforgettable sunrise views of Everest. Descend and continue trekking toward Dzongla village beneath towering Himalayan peaks.
Cross the icy Cho La Pass, one of the most adventurous sections of the trek. Walk over glacier terrain before descending carefully to Thangnak in the beautiful Gokyo Valley.
Follow glacier routes beside turquoise lakes toward stunning Gokyo Lakes. Arrive at Gokyo village surrounded by pristine alpine scenery and magnificent Himalayan reflections.
Early ascent to Gokyo Ri viewpoint offering one of the finest panoramas in the Everest region, including Everest, Cho Oyu, Lhotse, and Makalu. Return to Gokyo for rest and recovery.
Cross scenic Renjo La Pass with breathtaking views over Gokyo Lakes and Everest range. Descend into remote valleys leading to peaceful Marlung village.
Follow traditional trade routes along Bhote Koshi Valley, passing Sherpa settlements before returning to lively Namche Bazaar for well-earned rest and comfort.
Descend through forests and suspension bridges along familiar trails. Enjoy relaxed trekking while revisiting villages and river valleys on the return journey.
Final trekking day climbing gradually back to Lukla. Celebrate successful completion of the Everest Three Passes adventure with trekking crew and fellow travelers.
