Hereby starts the adventure of Buddys where the world of adventure and reality meet at the very heart of Himalayas. We are glad that we have a tour or adventure trip to Nepal in your trekking. We hereby request you to take time and read the following Terms and Conditions before registering any of our trips or availing any of our services:

In using our site by making a reservation, or in any other manner using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and assented to the Terms and Conditions. The following are just few terms of a contract that binds you and the Journey of Buddys and is being applied to ensure that the two are safe.

Agreement Overview

The Terms and Conditions are bound to you by simply accessing the Buddys Journey site and making a trip choice or any of our activities. The Buddyss journey is the secret of revising or altering these terms at any time or place as he pleases. We are still using our services and this is an acceptance of new terms.

Unless you are just going to concur with any of the points of these conditions, it is better not to use our site or services.

Bookings & Payment Policy

Making a Booking

To confirm the reservation with Buddys Journey, it is necessary to state the right amount of personal details including:

• Sale of passport (as per passport)
• Contact information
• Emergency contact details
• Medical data and health.
• Any special requirements

Booking: by the booking, you are guaranteeing that you are healthy, both physically and mentally, to participate in a trek, tour or activity that you have selected.

Payment Details

To book your trip, you require a deposit or full-payment (depending on the package). One can pay using acceptable ways of paying such as bank transfer, online payment mode or by credit or debit cards.

Once you make payment, a formal confirmation e-mail on your details will be sent.

Cancellation Policy

• We are aware that traveling arrangements can be changed. We have the following cancellation policy:
• More than 30 days before departure- Full refund with the exception of the administrative fees.
• 15-30 days before the departure: half money back of the trip price.
• Less than two weeks to your trip: No money back.
• Refunds are made upon subtraction of service or transaction fee, where applicable.

Booking Amendments

Any changes (trip dates, itinerary or destination) are to be requested long before. Even though we will strive to make changes, we will have a chance to make changes and all of them will cost additional money.

Health and Fitness specifications.

Your safety has been our priority. There are some adventures and excursions that have a demand of a normal physical fitness. During the booking, a mandatory part of disclosure of any medical ailments, wounds or surgeries is mandatory.

A health certificate may be needed when the climbs are high or when one is on a trek that is otherwise very difficult. Failure to meet fitness/medical standards may also lead to the cancellation of the trip with no refund.

Responsibility & Liability

Adventure Risks

• Some of the risks that are related to the trekking and adventure travelling include but are not limited to:
• High-altitude sickness
• Injuries or accidents
• Weather-related disruptions
• Issues of Travelling in Remote Areas.
• Your participation recognizes such dangers and you are willing to take part on a voluntary basis.

Waiver of Liability

You do agree to abandon, and waive any claim against Buddys Lonely Planet personnel, guides or affiliates and partners in respect of any subsequent injury, loss, damages or occurrence that may occur during the trip by participating in a trip with Buddys.

Travel Insurance

• Complete travel insurance is mandatory to everyone. Your insurance must cover:
• Medical emergencies
• Evacuation and rescue
• Trip cancellation
• Accidents and personal loss
• Buddys shall not be liable to make payment of the expenses which do not fall within your insurance.
• Conduct During the Trip

Respect for Nature & Culture

• We encourage responsible tourism and sustainable tourism. The expectation of all travellers that:
• Abide by the local customs, culture and traditions.
• Proper disposal of waste.
• Protect the natural environment.
• Follow the leave no trace principles.
• Failure to comply with such directions would lead to an ultimate throwing out of the trip without refund.

Prohibited Behavior

• Cigars or intoxication when traveling are highly prohibited. Any action, which puts others or the group at risk or the disruption of the group, which even might lead to an immediate expulsion of the trip, and no refund.
• Change or Cancellation of Journey by Buddys.
• Change or cancellation of trips can also be caused by unknown reasons that are not under our control like:
• Natural disasters
• Severe weather conditions
• Political instability
• Health emergencies
• Transportation or logistic issues.

Here we may either make other provisions, resett or partly refund. Buddys Journey will not entail the third-party expenses like hotel or flight tickets.

Privacy Policy

We value your privacy. The usage of all the personal data acquired is only to make a booking, communication, safety reasons. We do not sell, lease or abuse your personal information. You will be required to read about it further in our Privacy Policy.

Intellectual Property

All the content of the Buddyss Journey site belongs to Buddyss Journey like text, images and videos, logos, itineraries and branding. Unauthorised copying or distribution is strictly forbidden.

Limitation of Liability

• Buddys Journey has no responsibility to delay, disruption, and losses due to:
• Force majeure (Pandemics, war, Natural disasters)
• Airline or transport delays
• Governmental measures or limitations.
• Strikes Protests or political events.

We can do where we can assist us, which we cannot spare external losses.

Law Jurisdiction and dispute resolution.

The Terms & Condition fall under the laws of Nepal. The first instance of settling any disagreement will be through mutual discussion and arbitration. Legal proceedings will be done in Kathmandu in Nepal in case of unresolved.

Updates to Terms

Buddys Journey has the right to revise these Terms and Conditions at its own discretion. The latest one will always show on our site and will work in all other future bookings.
